Things are falling right into place as we continue to get the Gadsden Museum ready for the Christmas-Past, Present, and Future. I painted (re-created) the peacocks that were painted years ago for artist James Whistler (Whistler's Mother) that he was not happy with. Interesting story!
The exhibit opens today and the Grand Opening will be Dec. 6th, 2009.

"Timeless Christmas" To Be At Gadsden Museum Of Art
Here is my latest - A Christmas Painting entitled "Timeless Christmas" to be on display at the Gadsden Museum Of Art during Christmas. It is a 16"x20". The Volunteers were asked to paint something Christmas related as part of the Christmas exhibit which features "The Peacock Room" with tree and decorated rooms with trees from different decades of the past up to the future, The Dicken's Village miniature displays, and the Alabama Power exhibit.
